What is Park-N-Play?
Park-N-Play, Des Moines’ new mobile recreation van, is jam-packed with different games, sports equipment, crafts, and so much more (for all ages). It's popping up throughout Des Moines, bringing fun into neighborhoods. Together, with your help, we'll make play and recreating more accessible for our entire community.
We’re looking for energetic volunteers to:
- Help staff set up fun, interactive games at parks, schools, and community spaces
- Spark joy through play while connecting with individuals and families
- Share the benefits of outdoor activities and fun.
Minimum Age Requirement: 16 years old. Minors must have the permission of a parent/legal guardian.
You must pass a background check to volunteer. Information on this process will be attached to your confirmation email.
