2022 Jingle Bell Stroll

Come celebrate the season at the Jingle Bell Stroll! Walk along the holiday-themed loop with game and craft stations. Visit live reindeer, listen to some holiday tunes, and pick up a hot chocolate to keep you warm as you wander around the loop.

Santa Claus will be available for a quick photo. Parents, relatives, or guardians, be sure to bring your phone or a camera to capture the holiday moment. Since you will not be able to chat long with Santa Claus, we invite you to bring a letter (with your address listed) and we’ll be sure he reads before he departs for the North Pole.

All volunteers will need to fill out the volunteer forms attached to the shift and pass a background check in order to help with this event. Registration deadline is Friday, November 4th.

COVID-19: 

In order to comply with emergency proclamations by the Governor or Mayor, as such may be amended from time to time, and as public health guidelines evolve, for the safety of staff and the public, the Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel at any time. In addition, the Department reserves the right to change the registration requirements at any time. The Department will contact the volunteers as soon as reasonably possible with such cancellation or changes.

The City of Des Moines cannot guarantee that the volunteer or any of the event attendees will not become infected with COVID-19.  Volunteers and attendees use the City’s facility at their own risk.
