2024 Bark Before Dark

Are you a dog lover? Consider volunteering to help facilitate our Bark Before Dark Halloween Pawty at each of our dog parks this spooky season. 

All City of Des Moines dog park permit holders are invited to this celebration. Each registered dog will receive a goodie bag and the opportunity to run about the park with different Halloween activities. All registered dogs will be entered into the costume contest to win a free 2025 Dog Park Permit.

We will be looking for volunteers to help facilitate check-in, hand out goodie bags, take photos, and float around the park to ensure that everyone is having a spooky good time. 

 Registration deadline: October 8th. 

All volunteers will need to pass a background check in order to help with this event.
